You will first want to open “Steam” and look towards the top left of the screen where you will see a “view” button.

When you press the “view” button you will then want to press the “settings” button.

After pressing “Settings” you will want to find and press the “Interface” button.

When this screen appears you will then want to press the following option and make sure there is a check mark next to the option.

If you wish to find yours or a friends Steam ID you will click on their profile and look towards the top left of the screen for the green text, you will then copy all the numbers at the end of the text.
Friend Code
Step 1
When trying to find your friend code you will first want to click on your name and head down to the “friends” button.
Step 2
After pressing the “friends” button this screen will appear, now all you will have to do is press “Add a Friend”.
Step 3
Now all you will have to do is press the “COPY” button and give your friend your code and they will be able to look you up directly.
